HR Management Trainee (Benefits and Legal)

About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive, reliable, and resourceful HR Management Trainee which will focus on Employee Benefits and Legal Compliance. This role will support day-to-day statutory benefits administration and assist with foundational legal and labor matters.
What You'll Do:
Compliance Auditing: Ensure company policies align with updated guidelines from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Statutory Documentation: Review and file clearances, retirement packages, maternity/sickness notifications, loan applications, and other benefits documentation.
Legal Affairs & Advisory: Assist in handling labor relations cases, including drafting legally compliant corporate documentation such as Notices to Explain (NTE), administrative hearing minutes, and participating in administrative hearings.
Regulatory Liaison: Represent the organization during inquiries or transactions with DOLE, the National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), or local government units (LGUs).
Manage Statutory Portals: Manage online government platforms including My.SSS (Sickness, Maternity, Pension portals), PhilHealth EPRS, and Virtual Pag-IBIG for smooth statutory administration.
Support HR Compliance Initiatives: Assist with ad-hoc legal audits, employee inquiries on statutory benefits, and internal compliance-building campaigns as needed.
Cultivate Culture: Foster a positive, supportive, and people-first workplace environment.
Who We're Looking For:
Education: Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, Legal Management, or any related field.
Experience: With hands-on experience in employee benefits administration, paralegal work, or labor relations.
Key Attributes: Highly organized, attentive to detail, proactive, and willing to take initiative to get things done.
Mindset & Drive: Possesses a positive work mindset, strong willingness to learn, and a keen interest in Philippine labor law, statutory benefits, and employee relations.
Power Communicator: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to coordinate across various teams.
Technical Knowledge & Competencies: Familiarity with online government platforms (My.SSS, PhilHealth EPRS, Virtual Pag-IBIG) and with strong knowledge of the Labor Code of the Philippines, Republic Act 11199 (Social Security Act of 2018), Republic Act 11223 (Universal Health Care Act), and DOLE Department Orders.
Tech-Savvy: Proficient in MS Office for reports and documentation, and resourceful in knowing how to use AI and other tools to automate and streamline processes.
Work Setup: Willing to work on-site in Cubao, Quezon City.
