About the Role:
We are looking for a versatile, end-to-end HR Professional to anchor the people operations of our fast-growing Telecommunications Business Unit.
This unique and dynamic role requires a high degree of adaptability where you will be the primary HR partner for a highly diverse workforce - ranging from field-based technical teams to highly specialized industry consultants. If you are an agile HR generalist who can seamlessly shift gears between operations, strategic talent sourcing, and hands-on employee relations, you will thrive here.
What You'll Do:
End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full talent acquisition lifecycle for the Telco BY. This includes sourcing and screening for high-volume technical roles, as well as coordinating contracts for specialized consultants and project leaders.
Employee Relations & Lifecycle Management: Serve as the main point of contact for all Telco BY personnel. Handle onboarding, contract management, grievance resolution, and offboarding with a deep understanding of the distinct needs of different employee tiers.
Operations & Compliance: Maintain robust employee tracking matrices using Company tools. Ensure strict compliance with DOLE labor standards, specialized project clearances, and safety regulations unique to field operations.
Culture Integration: Actively bridge communication gaps across different levels of the workforce, ensuring that MEC's core values and mindset are felt by every employee, whether they are in the field or the boardroom.
Compensation & Benefits Support: Coordinate with the centralized HR/Finance teams to ensure accurate timekeeping, allowance management, and distinct compensation structures for regular employees, project-based staff, and independent consultants.
Who We're Looking For:
Experience: 2-4 years of solid experience as an HR Generalist or HR Officer, ideally within the Telecommunications, ICT, Construction, or Engineering Sectors.
Workforce Versatility: Proven capability in handling a diverse workforce matrix. Should be equally comfortable communicating on the ground with technical field team members and presenting to high-level corporate consultant.
End-to-End Capabilities: Strong foundational knowledge in Recruitment, Labor Relations, Employee Engagement, and HR Administration.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite and ATS for managing complex personnel trackers and data.
Core Attributes:
Exceptional emotional intelligence, active listening, and conflict-resolution skills
Strong mastery of Philippine Labor Laws across various employment statuses (regular, project-based, and independent contractors)
