Job Summary

The Telemarketing Assistant will support the Marketing team by making outbound calls, qualifying leads, and nurturing potential clients. This role is ideal for someone with excellent communication skills and a keen interest in the IT industry who wants to develop experience in sales and marketing.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to online inquiries via Zendesk, company website, and social media platforms to assist potential and existing customers
  • Maintain and update a centralized customer database using Mailchimp and NetSuite to ensure accurate contact and interaction records
  • Conduct outbound calls to potential customers, utilizing persuasive communication skills to effectively promote IT products and services
  • Follow up on leads and maintain regular communication to nurture relationships and increase opportunities for sales conversations
  • Assist the Marketing Events Team by managing databases and supporting marketing fund claiming processes
  • Perform event-related outreach including invitation calls and email reminders to ensure high attendance rates
  • Prepare and submit monthly and annual reports on telemarketing activities and outcomes to management

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or any other related courses
  • 1-2 year experience in Telemarketing, customer service, or sales experience is an advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
  • Creative mindset with the ability to craft engaging communication and problem-solve effectively
  • Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Basic understanding of IT products and technology is a plus
